Quite a few of us have been waiting for the Norwegian forage analyzes based on a comparision between wide film and 4 layers of wrap and netting / 6 layers of wrap. Eurofins.no made the analyzes from first cut 2010 in Norway, opening the bales in December. The results are convincing. We are probably facing another success story for the ag business !Tests implying wide film + 4 layers are stating a very good quality, and definitley in line with analyzes from netting + 6 layers of wrap. Considering the economical consequences, it is realistic to save nearly 1 EUR pr. bale, which is appr. 25 % savings. Please study the figures below and get exited. It is all good news for the 2011 season. Now it's up to yourself to choose a wrapping method saving costs and still maintaining the high forage quality, by using the Orkel wide film.
