Round baling developing in new markets

The round bale conquered the northern part of Europe long time ago. It's of interest to see how the round baling method is developing in other parts of the world. During the past 2-3 years, Orkel has supplied grass balers as well as MP 2000 compactors to a number of markets, for baling different kinds of materials. The feedback is in line with most markets: "Dense bales - high durability of the machines".

Quite a few of us have been waiting for the Norwegian forage analyzes based on a comparision between wide film and 4 layers of wrap and netting / 6 layers of wrap. Eurofins.no made the analyzes from first cut 2010 in Norway, opening the bales in December. The results are convincing. We are probably facing another success story for the ag business !

Orkel quality - appreciated in Japan

The Orkel importer Cornes AG confirms the Orkel bales and products have achieved a special status in Japan.

Like the Norwegian market, Japan is a typical “high quality orientated” market. Bale weights, bale density and bale shape for safe bale handling and logistics is an important factor.

Cornes confirmes Orkel bales have a better density compared to competitors, by close to 20 %.

The 1st cut is on in Southern Europe
