Compactors

The Orkel Compactor product line presents a complete, high quality solution for compacting, baling and wrapping a variety of bulk materials within industry, waste and agricultural sectors. A profitable product, in terms of effective logistics and in preserving the quality of your product.

Effective logistics

The Compactor reduces the volume of almost any bulk material 3:1. This gives the ability to store more in less space and to transport more in each transport. The clean and tight packaging of bales makes them possible to transport in containers or any other means of transport without mess or loss. The air- and waterproof plastic wrapping makes storage houses unnecessary. No liquid or smell gets in or out of the bales.

Multifunctional

The Compactor is able to handle almost any bulk or chopped material. It is currently in use for more than 25 different materials, and still expanding to new areas of use. In order to accommodate every specific need we deliver three different sizes of the Compactor, which produce bales with diameters of 115 (MP 2000), 100 (MC 1000) and 85 cm (MC 850), all with the same high quality. Other varieties like different feeding tables and chamber of Hardox tempered steel are among the many customizations we make to optimize the Compactor for every customer’s needs. Preserving outstanding quality of your product

Our bales conserve their content very well. This is due to the tight wrapping together with the fact that virtually all oxygen is pressed out of the material during the compaction process. No oxygen is left in the material and no oxygen gets in. Several reports show how significant this effect is for selected industries.

Low life cycle costs

The Orkel Compactors are of outstanding quality in terms of reliability, durability and maintainability. Our customers are the best to tell you about this:

"Our company runs three Orkel MP 2000 Compactors. One of these has produced appr. 200 000 bales and is still in operation. Of these, 140 000 bales were of maize, 60 000 of other materials. The maintenance costs have been less than 20 000 CHF (16 000 EUR) and all bushings are still intact. For us important advantages of the Orkel Compactor are reliability, simple maintenance and high second hand value.”
